Car Donation Program
Your car can be priceless when given to the American Red Cross of Medina County as part of the Chapter’s Car Donation Program. With the support of Shue’s Towing Service of Sharon Township, this program helps your local Red Cross Chapter fund programs such as Disaster Services and Services to Armed Forces.
How does it work? If you live in Medina County and have a running or non-running, used, unwanted car, truck or van and don’t want the hassle of selling the vehicle yourself, just call the American Red Cross of Medina County at 330-723-4565 or toll free at 1-877-441-4565. As the donor, you receive a tax letter good for the full value allowed by law.
The vehicles are picked up by Shue’s Towing Service, which coordinates the towing and title exchange. Vehicles are repaired and re-sold or parts are sold. Those funds are then re-invested into the Chapter’s programs. Donors need only the title and keys.
