As part of the national American Red Cross Blood Services, our mission is to fulfill the needs in Northern Ohio for transfusion products, tissue banking, and related services in the safest, most efficient, cost-effective manner through volunteer donors.
Fast Facts:
900 pints of blood are needed each day in Northern Ohio.
You must be at least 17 years of age to donate blood or 16 with parental permission.
There is no upper age limit for blood donation as long as you are in good health.
You must weigh at least 110 pounds.
